Sorry For The Delay!!

Hi All...I am so sorry I haven't updated my blog for so long! My beautiful daughter grows bigger with child each day. Her little girl is due any time now, so we anxiously await her arrival. She's had 3 baby showers and has her nursery all prepared. I love the things they have nowadays for new mommie.

I spent Valentines Day with the 2 favorite men in my life. Steve and Perry of course! He's now 7 months old, which is hard to believe. What an absolute love..he has the most charming personality, a huge flirt. He is a bruiser like his daddy...and strong as well. He's sitting up on his own, has 2 perfect little teeth and gives huge belly laughs when I tickle him. I think one of the most amazing things about him is his reaction to me when I sing to him. He LOVES music (though my singing can hardly be called music!!). His favorite song is "Wheels on the Bus"..as soon as I start singing it, he stops babbling, stares me intently in the eye, with a huge smile on his face, and tries to sing along. Truly!!

My other favorite time with him (though there are way too many to list) is his bath time. When he sleeps over here, I give him a sink bath! I taught him to splash and he loves his rubber duckie (of course, I sing Bert and Ernies Rubber Duckie Song as I wash him). After his bath, I wrap him in a nice warm towel, rub him down with sweet baby lotion, blow raspberries on his big belly, kiss his little feet and savor every smile, smell and touch of that perfect little boy.

These pictures are Perry and Great-Grandpa, Elizabeth at her baby shower last month, Perry at Wrights Restaurant for my birthday (Kelly and Rob didn't come that day so Elizabeth took these pictures of Perry with a plate of food in front of him as a joke...Kelly thinks I am always giving him foods that I shouldn't, which, of course, is a grandmother's duty!!), and finally Perry with my Valentines lobster dinner.
