Happy Halloween!

Perry celebrated his first Halloween as Tigger...so cute!!
Kelly and Rob enjoyed dinner at our house and I got to give Perry some of his wonderful baby cereal! He eats it like a little bird!!
He is growing so fast, right in front of our eyes...and his little personality is beginning to shine through.
What fun!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

What exciting news...Elizabeth and Marc are expecting a baby girl in March! We are all thrilled! Everything went great with her ultrasound, just where she should be. I have to scan in the ultrasound pictures so I can post them, but she (the baby) is so big! I even felt her move last night for the first time. What joy that was! Here are the pictures from her surprise announcement...she got Steve and I there telling us they needed help moving some furniture... again, we are just as happy as can be, and Perry will have a little girl cousin to watch over!!

Talk to you soon!! Grandma Kathy

Hi All,
Well, I had a wonderful week off from work and spent at least part of each day with Kelly and Perry. He is just so cute I could eat him up!! His personality is now shining through. He reminds me of Kelly when she was a baby. His face absolutely lights up when you speak to him! I would like to think it is just me that makes him light up like that, but I know it's life itself and the wonderful people who take the time to talk to him.
We had our second sleep over last night. I think he had a bit of a tummy ache...but he was so wonderful. He went to bed at around 9:15 and at around 3am I heard him making soft baby noises in the bassinet. That is the second trait that he has inherited from his mom, he is a chatter box, even in his sleep. He makes the most wonderful cooing sounds, content and happy. When I heard him at 3am, I experienced a sense of calm, a thrill that I can't explain. He was on the edge of sleep and wakefulness, cooing softly in his crib, sharing a room with his grandmother and grandfather and in the dark coolness of the early fall night, engraving a memory on my heart that will forever remain. Life is good...

I went with Elizabeth today to purchase a mattress for her soon to be baby. In 5 days she will be 1/2 way there! Next week we should know for sure whether it is a boy or girl. We are recording her pregnancy, though she seems to be larger than Kelly was at this stage.. Marc was 13 lbs at birth and she was 8 1/2, so she may be having a big baby. I'm so excited to meet the next member of our family.

Well, that's it for tonight. Talk to you soon!!

Latest Update

Sorry For Extended Posting Delays!!

I am sorry it's been so long since I've updated. Perry continues getting bigger and more beautiful each day (though there is no prejudice here!!) He is up to 14 pounds! Steve and I took him on a date Saturday night. We went to a Mexican restaurant where he loved all the colors and lights, then went to Jordan's Furniture and then to Trader Joe's. He was awake the majority of the time, and only fusses if he's hungry (which based on his increasing weight is every few hours...I swear he has a hollow leg!!)

Elizabeth is feeling great...just tired which is normal. She has a cute baby belly and the little bugger is moving all around, though only she can feel it at this point. We should know soon whether we have a little boy or girl joining the family come this March.

Enjoy the pictures and I will try to get it updated more often!

Baby Oberacker has long feet like daddy!!

A wave from the baby!! Amazing to see these pictures!! Elizabeth said the baby was so active during the ultrasound that it was hard to snap pictures!!
